Works well but don't expect support

Been using msecure for 3-4 years. Works fine but if theres a problem you're pretty much on your own. Last year big problem with an update that just wouldn't transmit itself to my app - for weeks it kept telling me I needed to update. Support was no great help and after 3 weeks the problem vanished by itself. This year I got a message that my plan was cancelled, apparently due to a payment that did not go through. I never received a message from their payment service Paddle and neither did I get any support: the Paddle bot couldn't handle the question and didn't escalate to a human and msecure Support never even answered my question.

Good password manager; some problems with autofill, FaceID, TouchID, support

I’ve learned: support is substandard. I’ve learned *my own* troubleshooting and bypasses. Live and learn. Been using mSecure for many years (enpass veteran, I won’t bother to migrate yet again). Biometrics and their failure are flakey (in spite of what “support” says). Autofill on accounts with multiple userids (e.g., my 3 Gmail accounts) is entirely flakey. Otherwise (except during major OS updates) mostly acceptable

I had just paid for mSecure Pro v5 less then a year prior. They then decided to go into a subscription model and auto-upgraded you to v6 version and moved some of the features that were just purchased in v5 to be under their subscription v6.
Additionally, they made the interface more convoluted, dense and hard to navigate which was a major turn off. The nail in the coffin for me is their snarky attitude on their forum when addressing complaints and issues about auto-upgrading users to v6.
It's sad to see a quality product be mismanaged into a clunky product that I never recommend anymore and abandoning myself.

Lost all passwords after last app update

Everything was working smoothly until they released their mSecure 6, then I couldn't open the app anymore, it kept on crashing. I was not able to access any of my passwords anymore and the support service did not provide me with a solution. I've been asking for a solution or a refund for 4 months and no answer other than "Are you still running into the issue?".
Do not trust them with your login and password details, if you run into an issue with them they will just ignore you.

Msecure was once a competent cross platform password manager. I used it for years. They recently decided to update the software and change their business model. In the process they ruined their product. It has now become useless on the windows platform as it not longer ties into dropbox consistently and easily. Having to login to Dropbox every time it is fired up is not a thing. As for Customer support? NON EXISTANT. Go elsewhere.

Secure 6 great upgrade

I have been using msecure for a number of years. They have tried to keep the price down and only went to a subscription model with version 6. It works and integrates well across Mac OS and iOS portable devices. What I like about it, is that it does not store your passwords on their server. It synchronises through iCloud between devices. I am running 6.02 which still needs a little work but is a well worth upgrade on version 5.

I have used mSecure ever since 3.x, They recently went to a subscription model, and forced paid users into new subscription payments. They have so many features that are half-baked it's just to complicated to actually use.
